Dr Sujata Biswas

Dr Sujata Biswas is a highly regarded Consultant Gastroenterologist who provides expert care for patients experiencing a wide range of digestive and liver conditions. Reassuring and professional, she is dedicated to delivering personalised treatment plans that optimise digestive health and improve patient outcomes. Her clinical practice encompasses the diagnosis and management of complex gastrointestinal disorders, including inflammatory bowel disease, liver cirrhosis, and hepatitis. Dr Biswas is particularly skilled in performing advanced endoscopic procedures, ensuring that patients receive precise and comfortable diagnostic evaluations.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Biswas is deeply committed to medical research and education. Her research interests focus on colorectal cancer genetics, polyposis syndromes, and gastrointestinal stem cell biology. She has contributed significantly to the scientific understanding of how the microenvironment influences bowel diseases and cancer development, with numerous publications in leading medical journals.
