Dr Steven Watkins

Dr Steven Watkins is a compassionate Consultant Clinical Oncologist who provides expert, patient-centred care for individuals undergoing cancer diagnosis and treatment. He works collaboratively with clinical teams to deliver tailored management plans designed to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. Dr Watkins prioritises clear communication, empathetic support, and evidence-based practice to ensure patients feel fully informed and reassured throughout their treatment journey.

Dr Watkins completed his primary medical education at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, graduating in 2001. Following his qualification, he completed extensive postgraduate specialist training in Clinical Oncology across prominent teaching centres in London. His rigour in academic study and clinical training established a strong foundation in radiation oncology and complex cancer management.

His primary clinical focus encompasses the management of skin and lung malignancies. Dr Watkins possesses detailed expertise in advanced stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR), precision oncology, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. He has a specific interest in the treatment of advanced non-melanoma skin cancers and utilises state-of-the-art radiotherapy techniques to deliver highly targeted treatments that aim to preserve healthy tissue and protect patient quality of life.
