Dr Stephen Parr

Dr Stephen Parr is a highly qualified Anaesthetist. Dr Parr qualified from Southampton University Medical School in 1982 and commenced their anaesthetic training in 1983. They spent a year in Wellington Hospital, New Zealand, gaining experience in their chosen specialty.

Dr Parr's anaesthetic technique includes a light general anaesthetic and a spinal anaesthetic inserted once the patient is asleep. The spinal injection gives pain relief for 6 hours after surgery. This combination has, over the years, proved to be very safe. It is administered without discomfort to the patient. Dr Parr is extremely experienced and provides excellent aftercare with suitable pain relief.
