Dr Stella George is an accomplished Consultant Physician specialising in Endocrinology & Diabetes. She provides expert care for individuals facing a wide spectrum of metabolic and hormonal conditions, with a strong clinical focus on inpatient care and complex diabetes management. Dedicated to compassionate and clear communication, Dr George works closely with patients to help them understand their health, empowering them to manage long-term conditions with confidence and reassurance.

Her clinical practice encompasses the assessment and ongoing management of adult endocrine disorders and diabetes. Dr George has a particular clinical interest in severe insulin resistance and the implementation of advanced inpatient treatment protocols, including variable rate intravenous insulin infusions. Dr Stella George earned her medical degree (MBChB) from the University of Birmingham before completing her specialist postgraduate training in Diabetes and Endocrinology through the University of Cambridge, where she was awarded a PhD for her research into severe insulin resistance. She also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Education and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
