Professor Gordana Prelevic, Consultant Endocrinologist, is currently based at Wellington Hospital in London, UK. She has a wide range of knowledge in reproductive endocrinology, with a specific interest in polycystic ovary syndrome, menopause and infertility. She also is interested in osteoporosis.
Prof Prelevic has seen a wide range of women with complaints of issues with their period, premenstrual syndrome, infertility, hyperprolactinaemia, and hirsutism. She also has experience in seeing women with Hashimoto's disease (autoimmune thyroid disorder) who want to get pregnant. She spends a significant amount of her clinical time in the management of peri- and post-menopausal women, providing them with hormone replacement therapy (HRT). She also does this for women experiencing early menopause.
Prof Prelevic is a Professor of Medicine at the Belgrade University School of Medicine and has an extensive research history. She has published over 300 original research and review articles in peer-reviewed journals and has written for many endocrinology textbooks. She has even pioneered the use of anti-androgen therapy in PCOS.

Prof. Prelevic is an extremely knowledgeable and thorough specialist. She took a detailed look through my history, identified past diagnostic mistakes and set a course of action that was ultimately successful in resolving a complicated, long standing issue. I had a fantastic experience, and would highly recommend her.

Professor Prelevic was very approachable and explained everything thoroughly, I felt confident that she was the right consultant for my situation and although the consultation ran over time she did not mention this or rush, instead I felt that all my questions had been answered and that I was in good hands.

I haveknown Professor Prelevic for many years now as many of my medical problems are related. I have always found her thorough in her investigations and able to explain carefully her diagnosis and treatment. I was pleased to have the opportunity to discuss my review with her on line as I have had a variety of doctors and specialists dealing with me because of covid, and pulling everything together has been difficult. I was immensely reassured to have the results discussed by herself reaffirming that the results confirm that I am progressing well despite the difficulties I have had this year and I am doing the correct things. She is very inspiring and intelligent and I value her opinion.
