Dr Rajeev Kumar

Dr Rajeev Kumar is a highly qualified Consultant in Acute Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology. Born in India, Dr Kumar pursued their medical education at Delhi University, graduating in 1993. They then undertook specialist training in the Eastern Deanery, completing the Cambridge rotation. Throughout their career, Dr Kumar has gained experience at numerous professorial units, including Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, Luton and Dunadtable Hospital, and QE2 Hospital in Welwyn Garden City.

Dr Kumar's clinical practice encompasses a wide spectrum of endocrine disorders. They are highly skilled in the management of both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus, as well as hypoglycaemia. Their expertise extends to a variety of endocrine conditions, including pituitary disorders, thyroid dysfunction (both hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism), and disorders of the parathyroid and adrenal glands.

Furthermore, Dr Kumar is proficient in managing hypertension, dyslipidaemia, and osteoporosis.
