Dr Sri Iyengar

Dr. Srikanth Iyengar completed his radiology training in the Peninsula training scheme and subsequently pursued specialist training in cardiac radiology at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.

In 2012, he was appointed as a consultant at Birmingham City and Sandwell Hospital NHS Trust, where he established the cardiac CT service. Later, in 2013, he joined Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospital (Frimley Health).

His primary clinical interests lie in chest and cardiac radiology, and he has spearheaded the development of cardiac CT and MRI at Wexham Park and Heatherwood hospitals. Additionally, he is interested in improving diagnostic pathways for lung cancer and currently serves as the lead for the CT service at Wexham.

Dr. Iyengar's research and teaching interests encompass high-definition cardiac CT, radiation and contrast dose optimisation for cardiac and thoracic CT, as well as spectral CT imaging for thoracic disease.

At present, Dr. Iyengar holds the position of Consultant Radiologist at Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospital (Frimley Health NHSFT).
