Dr Sonia Bouri is a highly dedicated Consultant Gastroenterologist who provides expert care for patients experiencing a wide range of digestive health conditions. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, she specialises in general gastroenterology and has a particular clinical focus on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Dr Bouri is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, ensuring that each patient receives a personalised treatment plan tailored to their unique needs.

Her clinical practice encompasses the diagnosis and management of complex gastrointestinal disorders, including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Dr Bouri has a strong interest in innovative care models, such as the implementation of virtual wards to safely manage IBD flares within the community. Additionally, she is highly skilled in the investigation and treatment of iron deficiency anaemia, as well as addressing common but challenging symptoms associated with chronic gut conditions, such as abdominal pain, fatigue, and faecal incontinence.
