Dr Sonali Gaur

Dr Sonali Gaur is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides individualised healthcare for women across all stages of life. Demonstrating a patient-centred approach, Dr Gaur delivers expert clinical care for both routine and complex gynaecological and obstetric conditions. Her practice covers standard well-woman care, specialised antenatal management, and advanced surgical interventions. With a strong commitment to evidence-based practice, she supports her patients through high-risk pregnancies, reproductive health challenges, menstrual health concerns, and the menopause transition.

Dr Gaur completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1997 at Gajra Raja Medical College. She subsequently earned her MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from B J Medical College and the Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute in 2001. Moving to the United Kingdom for higher clinical training, she obtained her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2015. Additionally, she holds a postgraduate degree in Leadership in a Clinical Context from the University of Brighton. Dr Gaur is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) and holds professional memberships with the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) and the General Medical Council (GMC).

In her clinical work, Dr Gaur has key interests in high-risk obstetrics, maternal medicine, preterm birth prevention, and gestational diabetes. Her gynaecological expertise encompasses the management of chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), menstrual disorders, adolescent gynaecology, menopausal symptoms, and gynaecological cancers. She is skilled in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures, prolapse repairs, endometrial ablation, and hysterectomy.
