Mr Sherif Monib

Mr. Sherif Monib is a highly experienced Consultant Breast Surgeon with extensive training and expertise in surgical oncology. He obtained his medical degree from Cairo University Medical School, Egypt, in 1994. Subsequently, he pursued his surgical training with a particular focus on surgical oncology at the National Cancer Institute of Cairo University (NCI).

After his initial training, Mr. Monib spent some time in the Gulf region before relocating to the United Kingdom. In the UK, he has worked in various regions, including the East of England and London Northwest, gaining valuable experience in breast surgery.

His academic qualifications include a master's degree in General Surgery, Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, and Fellowship of the European Board of Breast Surgery. Additionally, Mr. Monib holds a diploma in breast ultrasound scanning from London South Bank University.

As a Consultant Breast Surgeon, Mr. Sherif Monib has a strong interest in several key areas, including early diagnosis of breast cancer, individualised cancer care, and oncoplastic techniques. Mr. Monib collaborates closely with medical and clinical oncologists, plastic surgeons, and other specialists as part of a multidisciplinary team approach to cancer care.

In addition to his clinical work, Mr. Monib is actively involved in clinical audits, service improvement projects, and research. He has an impressive record of national and international peer-reviewed publications, with 93 publications to his credit. His research interests include surgical oncology, benign breast disease, breast cancer, and breast reconstruction. He also serves as an editor and reviewer for various medical journals.
