Dr Senan Alsanjari

Dr Senan Alsanjari is an award-winning Consultant Radiologist who specialises in cardiothoracic and oncological imaging. He is highly regarded for his expertise in advanced heart and chest diagnostics, providing precise and high-quality reports that support both patients and clinicians in making confident, informed decisions. With a commitment to clinical excellence, Dr Alsanjari serves as a Clinical Lead for cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) within the National Health Service (NHS) and plays an active role in national lung cancer screening initiatives.

Dr Alsanjari obtained his primary medical qualification, receiving his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) degree, and completed his general radiology training in Surrey. During his postgraduate training, he was uniquely honoured with both the Frank Doyle Award and the Gold Award for achieving the highest marks in the postgraduate Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) examinations. To further refine his expertise, he undertook advanced fellowship training in cardiac imaging at prestigious teaching hospitals in London. He holds Level III accreditation in both Cardiac Computed Tomography (CT) and Cardiac MRI, which is the highest level of certification awarded by international cardiovascular imaging societies.

In his clinical practice, Dr Alsanjari focuses on a wide range of diagnostic investigations, including coronary artery disease assessment, heart valve evaluation, and the investigation of chronic cough and breathlessness. He is also an accredited positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT) reporter, utilising advanced imaging techniques for cancer staging, treatment response monitoring, and recurrence detection. His patient-centred approach ensures that complex imaging results are interpreted with the utmost accuracy and clarity, helping to guide effective treatment pathways.
