Dr Sarah Kent

Dr Sarah Kent is an accomplished Consultant Paediatrician who provides expert medical care for infants, children, and young people. As a Consultant, she is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care that addresses a wide array of acute and chronic health conditions in young patients. Dr Kent works closely with families to ensure each child receives comprehensive, tailored medical assessment and ongoing support in a reassuring clinical environment.

With a designated sub-specialty interest in Paediatric Diabetes, Dr Kent focuses on managing complex conditions, including Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, and maturity-onset diabetes of the young (MODY). She collaborates within multidisciplinary teams to offer structured education, continuous glucose monitoring guidance, and insulin pump therapy support. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Kent plays an active role in medical education and clinical training, helping to teach medical trainees and advance standards in child healthcare.

Dr Kent earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) medical degree and completed extensive postgraduate training in General Paediatrics. She holds professional membership with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) and maintains full accreditation on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Paediatrics. She also maintains up-to-date certifications in Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) and Newborn Life Support (NLS), underscoring her commitment to high clinical standards and patient safety.
