Dr Sarah Hattam

Dr Sarah Hattam is an experienced General Practitioner and Menopause Expert registered with the British Menopause Society (BMS). She has over 25 years of clinical experience and currently offers her expertise in menopause at My Menopause Centre, an online menopause clinic providing a holistic, evidence-based, and personalised approach to women across the UK. My Menopause Clinic strives to demystify menopause and raise awareness of its symptoms by offering support to women through evidence-based information, advice, and personalised care.

Dr Hattam completed her medical degree at the University of Leeds in 1991 and became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 1995. When working as a doctor in gynaecology, she developed a keen interest in various areas of women's health, leading her to become a Diplomate of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. Dr Hattam is also certified in intrauterine system (IUS) and subdermal implants (SDI).

Alongside her clinical work, Dr Hattam contributes to shaping the future of healthcare by training aspiring doctors. She is also a GP Appraiser for NHS England, where she ensures quality healthcare standards. Additionally, Dr Hattam is an experienced speaker on menopause-related workplace issues.
