Dr Santosh Raga

Dr Santosh Raga is a highly qualified Consultant Cardiologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a broad range of cardiovascular conditions. He routinely evaluates individuals presenting with symptoms such as chest pain, breathlessness, heart palpitations, and episodes of collapse or syncope. Dedicated to delivering patient-centred and reassuring medical care, Dr Raga thoroughly investigates and manages both acute and long-term cardiac concerns to support long-term cardiovascular health.

Within the field of Cardiology, Dr Raga possesses extensive clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing complex conditions, including angina, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias). He has a particular sub-speciality interest in heart failure management as well as Cardiac Implantable Devices. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Raga is actively engaged in medical education, contributing to the clinical training and supervision of medical students and trainee doctors.

Dr Raga earned his primary medical degree in India before relocating to the United Kingdom to complete foundation and internal medicine training across England and Wales. Following the successful completion of his examinations, he attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK) and subsequently completed higher specialist training in Cardiology in Scotland.
