Dr Sami Hamid

Dr Sami Hamid is a dedicated Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in functional and reconstructive urology, andrology, and uro-oncology. He provides comprehensive diagnostic and surgical care for patients experiencing a wide range of general and complex urological conditions. His clinical practice encompasses both open and endoscopic surgical techniques, with a dedicated focus on restoring urinary function and addressing male reproductive health issues. Dr Hamid is committed to delivering individualised, patient-focused care through a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.

Dr Hamid earned his medical qualification (MD) from Jagiellonian University before completing his higher surgical training in Edinburgh, Scotland. He holds Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) and is an active member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS). Throughout his surgical training and clinical research fellowships, Dr Hamid has developed refined expertise in reconstructive urology, academic urology, and prostate cancer diagnostics.

In his daily clinical practice, Dr Hamid diagnoses and treats conditions including recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs), lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), urinary incontinence, urethral stricture disease, endometriosis affecting the urinary system, male infertility, erectile dysfunction, and germ cell tumours. He also offers specialised care for patients experiencing urinary complications secondary to cancer treatments or radiotherapy.
