Dr Samantha Moss

Dr Samantha Moss is a compassionate Consultant Respiratory Paediatrician who provides expert medical care for infants, children, and young people experiencing chest and breathing disorders. She is dedicated to delivering patient-focused care that empowers children and their families to understand and manage day-to-day symptoms effectively. Through thorough clinical evaluations and individualised treatment plans, Dr Moss focuses on supporting every child to achieve the best possible health outcomes and quality of life.

Her clinical practice encompasses a wide spectrum of paediatric respiratory health, with specialist expertise in managing childhood asthma and paediatric suppurative lung disease. Dr Moss plays a key role in delivering regional severe asthma services, offering advanced care for complex cases requiring tailored therapeutic strategies. Her holistic approach integrates evidence-based medicine with family education and shared decision-making, ensuring patients feel supported at every stage of their treatment journey.

Dr Moss completed her medical degree at St Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, qualifying in 1998. She subsequently undertook comprehensive paediatric training in Exeter and Liverpool, completing further sub-specialisation in paediatric respiratory medicine in 2007. In addition to her clinical commitments, her academic work includes research examining the response of preterm infants to pneumococcal vaccines, and she actively contributes to medical education in her role as a Paediatric Lead for final-year medical students.
