Dr Ruth Eakin

Dr Ruth Eakin is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist who provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients diagnosed with cancer. She specialises in thoracic oncology, head and neck malignancies, and urological cancers, with extensive clinical focus on lung cancer, mesothelioma, and prostate cancer. Dr Eakin is committed to delivering objective, reassuring guidance to patients and their families throughout diagnosis, active management, and follow-up care.

In her daily practice, Dr Eakin utilises precision radiotherapy techniques designed to target tumours effectively while protecting surrounding healthy tissue. Her clinical interests encompass Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), radical external beam radiotherapy, and stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR). She also engages in clinical trial research and translational studies to evaluate emerging therapies and improve treatment outcomes for individuals facing complex cancer diagnoses.
