Inspires confidence through his obvious knowledge and experience. Clear, concise, open and honest in fully explaining condition, procedures and prognosis. Very approachable, encourages questions and displays empathy - has a clear understanding of all the wider potential issues surrounding treatment which he fully explores during his consultations. Always has time for his patient and never shows any desire to speed though a consultation. Without doubt made a difficult situation manageable.

Dr Aidan Cole was the calm in the storm. He managed all of my worries and concerns about my Prostate Cancer diagnosis as though I was a member of his own family. He was clear, constructive and very understanding and always gave a tremendous degree of confidence in his understanding of the condition and how best to tackle it. He was mine and my wife's rock. He was (and still is) always available for updates, questions or concerns. In short I couldn't have wished for a better consultant to guide me on the difficult journey of having cancer. I'm enormously grateful to him and his team.

Very empathetic bedside manor with high degree of coaching verses direction. Clearly explained my diagnosis, its severity, prognosis and options immediately, mid and long term. Showed and explained my percentage survival at 10 years. Gave me great comfort that I was choosing the correct pathway of active surveillance, and has been quick in his response to my 3 monthly blood results. I feel very comforted that I am being extremely well looked after.
