Mr Rowland Storey

Dr Rowland Storey is a dedicated Consultant General Surgeon and Consultant Transplant Surgeon who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals requiring surgical intervention. With expertise in managing complex abdominal conditions and organ transplantation, Dr Storey balances technical precision with an empathetic clinical approach. He works closely alongside multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure each patient receives personalised care tailored to their specific health needs.

Dr Storey earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) with Honours from the University of Leicester in 2006. Following his primary medical qualification, he completed dedicated postgraduate research at the University of Leeds, earning a Doctorate of Medicine (MD). He subsequently undertook higher specialist registrar training in General Surgery and Transplantation on the South West Thames Higher Surgical Rotation, complemented by advanced fellowship training in transplant surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS), demonstrating his ongoing commitment to surgical excellence and professional standards.

In his clinical practice, Dr Storey focuses on renal and pancreatic transplantation alongside a wide range of general surgical procedures. He holds extensive experience in surgical access for renal replacement therapies, including establishing vascular access for haemodialysis and performing laparoscopic peritoneal dialysis catheter placement. Additionally, Dr Storey routinely performs general surgical interventions such as hernia repairs and minimal access laparoscopic procedures.
