Dr. Rochan Agha-Jaffar

Dr Rochan Agha-Jaffar is a Consultant Endocrinologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, with expertise in thyroid disease, general endocrinology, and diabetes. She qualified in Medicine at Nottingham University Medical School and completed specialist training in Endocrinology and Diabetes in North West London, before being appointed as a consultant in 2018.

Her clinical practice covers thyroid disorders, thyroid cancer, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and hormone metabolism in both men and women. She also has a particular interest in women’s health, having established a dedicated service for women with diabetes and endocrine disorders planning pregnancy. She is co-lead for the Diabetes-Antenatal Service at Imperial College Healthcare and a member of the Thyroid Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Team.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr Agha-Jaffar has a strong academic background, completing her PhD at Imperial College London. She has published widely in areas related to thyroid disease, diabetes, and metabolism, and her research has been recognised with national and international awards. She is regularly invited to speak at conferences in her specialist fields.

In addition to her NHS role, Dr Agha-Jaffar works with Opus, providing expertise for patients seeking to better understand the impact of hormones and metabolism on their overall health.
