He was friendly and knowledgable and made me feel really comfortable and confident ahead of my knee surgery.
Knee replacement end-January. Successful and recovered well. Throughout the lead-up to the surgery and post-surgical monitoring, Mr Plastow has been very supportive, explained options clearly, listened to my concerns, answered all my questions comprehensively. As my surgeon, he was also kind, compassionate and encouraging.
Mr Plastow was very professional, polite, respectful and listened to my concerns giving me confidence with the procedure ahead. After the procedure he visited a couple of hours later to let me know he was pleased with the outcome. I saw him again two weeks later and again he was great, warm, friendly and reaffirmed his confidence in the procedure. Overall I am very pleased with the service I have received.
Mr Plastow provides very clear and accessible medical advice. He is very thorough and goes out of his way to ensure that his treatment plan is understood by the patient. Whilst an in-patient, Mr Plastow was very reassuring - before and after the procedure and possesses an excellent bedside manner!
Ricci was excellent. The diagnosis and treatment were very quick and cleared the knee injury. I always like a surgeon who doesn't jump to surgery first, which was the case for me. The follow up was excellent too.
Mr. Ricci Plastow was highly efficient. He provided a quick and accurate diagnosis for my knee, was direct in explaining my options, and performed a successful arthroscopy. The recovery was remarkably fast—I was mobile again much sooner than anticipated. I would recommend him without hesitation.
Mr Plastow gave one confidence from the beginning as he took care to explain possible problems after the operation. In fact the whole experience was very pleasant and the recovery really painless. Afterwards his advice was encouraging and helpful.
Mr Plastow was very professional and responsive throughout my treatment. He is a brilliant surgeon and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who is in need of a knee trauma surgeon.
I am very happy with Mr Plastow's work on my right hip. He has been very generous with his time, offering me his care, attention, with clear guidance & explanation. The follow up consultation and re. dressing was very thorough and reassuring. Many thanks. Yours. C J B
