An unforgettable Natural Water Birth Experience! Where to begin. I had a natural water birth delivery without painkillers. This was only possible because Reena made me feel empowered throughout my whole pregnancy. I am beyond grateful for the exceptional care I received from her throughout my entire pregnancy and delivery. I met her through another consultant whilst looking for an obstetrician and I only had to meet her once to know she will deliver my baby. She had such a beautiful aura to her. You could see how much she loves what she does. Her confidence in her work just shined through. She made me feel confident in choosing her. She was so well put together and knew how to answer everyone of my questions. She was so compassionate through out my whole pregnancy and checked in on me every opportunity she had. I cannot recommend her enough. In every scan appointment she would be super excited to see our baby and explained every single detail regarding the baby. She would explain and teach us about the babies growth. She truly loves what she does and that makes every appointment super joyful. She has such a warm energy to her. She is absolutely beautiful inside and out. I feel that I found a freind in her and I could be super comfortable talking to her about everything I felt. When my baby was discovered to be breech, she gave me options on how to turn the baby naturally first. Reena was honestly a god send. We had an extremely difficult pregnancy, almost losing Twin B with very little we could do to save him. Reena was not only patient and clear with us about the situation and possibilities (not giving us false hopes but also not giving up), she was extremely empathetic and kind. She would never rush us and always understand the emotional side not just the clinical. She helped save our Twin B and we delivered two beautiful boys at 32 weeks, both of whom are thriving. I could not recommend Reena enough, and we feel so grateful and lucky to have had her alongside us on this journey. We’ve met many people, her colleagues and patients, who have said the same.

Dr Kotecha was extremely empathetic, attentive and professional throughout our pregnancy and delivery journey. During our antenatal care, she was very clear in the information she was providing us & gave us an open platform in which to raise any of our concerns & talk through the details of our birthing plan. Dr Kotecha’s approach was very patient centric and she efficiently aligned our scans and appointments according to our baby’s development. This provided us with continued reassurance throughout our care. We are very grateful for the support and care we received.

It is hard to put into words how wonderful Reena Kotecha was and how much we valued her support throughout my pregnancy. She is exceptionally thorough, but also very reassuring and approachable. It was a joy to go for our check ups with her - we felt in very safe hands. I had a caesarean and Reena made the whole process very easy and enjoyable for us!

I can not speak highly enough of Dr Kotecha and her team. She recently looked after me during my first pregnancy and was amazing. I am older with medical issues and an IVF pregnancy so the stakes were very high! From the moment I met her she put me at ease and I knew that I was in the best hands possible. She has a very kind manner but clearly is highly knowledgable and takes everything in her stride which is very reassuring. She was very accommodating to the fact that I live a couple of hours away from the hospital and took this in to account when making my treatment plan. We decided on an elective c-section for many reasons and she answered all my questions and walked me through the process so there would be no surprises. When it came to the big day I can’t say how enjoyable it was, rather a strange thing to say about major abdominal surgery! Everything was very calm, we had the best 80s playlist playing in the theatre, everyone was calm and friendly and we were kept updated through the whole process what was happening. Nothing was rushed and it just felt an amazing, calm and magical experience. This was down to Reena and the team around her. She has been at the end of the phone through the whole process, including afterwards, and always willing to answer any question or concern however small. On top of all that she is just a lovely, friendly person.
