Dr. Rebecca Robinson is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine at Marylebone Health with a special interest in Female athlete health and oncology. Rebecca splits her time between British canoeing, the NHS and her clinical time at Marylebone Health on Harley Street.
Dr. Robinson graduated from Newcastle University, and went on to train in both Hospital medicine and Sport and Exercise Medicine. She is active in research also, and has completed research on the impact of physical activity on chronic illness, working in clinical research in Oncology to address barriers and opportunities to integrate exercise prescription into medical care. Her current clinical work involves musculoskeletal medicine, sport and exercise medicine for elite athletes and also event medicine. Most recently Rebecca is running our ‘Long COVID' clinic helping patients get back to exercise safely; working at the cutting edge of sports medicine.
Dr. Robinson's clinical passion remains in exercise medicine in chronic illness, including cancer and female athlete health and exercise oncology. An accomplished athlete herself in International competitions for mountain and road running, she is able to empathise with patients directly, and understand their problems from a personal as well as a medical point of view.
