Dr Raj Chari

Dr Chari is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist. They have sub-specialist experience in trauma, sports, orthopaedic, rheumatological, musculoskeletal oncological and spine imaging and intervention. Their specialist interests include sports imaging and intervention. They are a member of a multidisciplinary team, treating national and international level elite athletes from a variety of sports.

Dr Chari is an expert in all aspects of musculoskeletal intervention, including joint and tendon injections, PRP injections, radiofrequency ablation, sclerotherapy, spinal injections and intervention, and musculoskeletal cancer related biopsies. They regularly participate in multidisciplinary meetings.

Dr Chari trained in Liverpool. Following this, they completed Fellowships at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and Strasbourg, France. They have also obtained a Master of Science degree in Diagnostic Imaging from the University of Oxford and a Diploma from the European Society of Skeletal Radiology.

Dr Chari has authored and co-authored a number of medical publications and book chapters. They are also a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons.
