Dr Puteri Abdul Haris

Dr Puteri Abdul Haris is a highly dedicated Consultant Clinical Oncologist who specialises in the treatment of various cancers, with a particular focus on head and neck malignancies and breast cancer. She is deeply committed to delivering patient-centred care, utilising advanced treatment modalities to improve patient outcomes. Her clinical practice is characterised by a compassionate, evidence-based approach, ensuring that each patient receives a personalised treatment plan tailored to their specific needs.

Dr Abdul Haris completed her medical education at the University of Nottingham, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. She went on to obtain her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians diploma in 2015, followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Oncology with distinction in 2017. She was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2020 and completed her specialist Clinical Oncology training in 2022. To further her expertise, she also completed a prestigious fellowship in stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic ablative radiotherapy.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Abdul Haris is actively involved in clinical research and translational projects aimed at advancing cancer care. Her research interests include the management of recurrent head and neck cancers and rare salivary gland cancers, where she collaborates on international projects to establish consensus guidelines. She also serves as a Co-investigator for clinical trials that provide patients with access to targeted therapies and innovative treatments, reflecting her commitment to bridging clinical practice with cutting-edge oncology developments.
