Professor Nigel Arden

Professor Arden is a Rheumatologist. They qualified in medicine in 1986. Professor Arden also holds an MSc and MD in Epidemiology. Professor Arden has a particular interest in Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, and Inflammatory Arthritis. They are appreciative of the distress musculoskeletal conditions or pain can cause and show their patients an exceptional level of care whilst working towards recovery.

Professor Arden completed four years of research into the genetics of osteoporosis. They also spent six months as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Epidemiology at the University of San Francisco. Professor Arden was admitted to the GMC's specialist register. They have held consultancy posts which included clinical and academic aspects. Professor Arden has also served as Honorary Consultant in Rheumatology.
