Dr Prashob Mohan

Dr Prashob Mohan is an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist who specialises in advanced eye care, focusing on conditions affecting the anterior segment of the eye. Dedicated to delivering high standards of medical and surgical care, he works closely with patients to assess complex eye conditions and provide personalised treatment pathways. His professional approach emphasises patient comfort, clear communication, and reassuring care throughout every stage of treatment.

In clinical practice, Dr Mohan offers comprehensive expertise across cataract surgery, corneal conditions, and vision correction procedures. He performs routine and complex cataract surgery using phacoemulsification techniques, alongside full-thickness and partial-thickness corneal transplantation. His surgical expertise also encompasses refractive laser procedures such as LASIK, PRK, and SMILE, implantable contact lenses, corneal crosslinking for keratoconus, and the management of ocular trauma.

Dr Mohan completed advanced fellowship training in Cornea and External Eye Diseases at Bangalore Medical College. He holds the Certificate in Laser Refractive Surgery, awarded in 2023, and maintains professional memberships as a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS Glasg).
