Dr Philip Parslow

Dr Philip Parslow is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician providing comprehensive healthcare for infants, children, and young people. With an approachable and empathetic manner, he delivers high-quality medical care tailored to the individual needs of young patients and their families. Dr Parslow works collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of general childhood illnesses and acute medical conditions.

In addition to general paediatric care, Dr Parslow possesses specialist clinical expertise in Paediatric Nephrology and renal medicine. He manages conditions affecting the kidneys and urinary tract in children, supporting families through diagnosis, long-term monitoring, and therapeutic interventions. His holistic approach ensures that young patients receive attentive, well-coordinated care for complex medical conditions, helping them achieve the best possible health outcomes.

Dr Parslow completed his initial medical degree at medical school in Manchester. He subsequently undertook his early clinical training as a House Officer and Senior House Officer in the North West of England, before completing specialist higher training as a Paediatric Registrar in Wessex. He attained his consultant appointment in October 2009. Alongside his clinical work, Dr Parslow is actively involved in postgraduate medical education and has served as a Training Programme Director for paediatric training, contributing to the professional development and mentoring of junior doctors.
