Following his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), he completed a post-CCT fellowship in Advanced Nutrition where he spent 6 months in the Intestinal Failure Unit at Salford Royal 6 months with the Intestinal Rehabilitation and Transplant teams in Oxford.
Dr Allan is widely published in the fields of clinical nutrition, intestinal failure and intestinal transplantation. He has research interests in intestinal failure associated liver disease and immunological cell tracking.

Overall was good - only slight negative was that the procedure was an hour behind schedule despite being early in the morning. The pre and post op calls to check on taking medication were very good.
