Dr Petr Vondras is a dedicated Consultant Anaesthetist committed to delivering safe, tailored, and compassionate care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. In his clinical practice, Dr Vondras has extensive expertise across general anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia, and spinal anaesthetic techniques. He has a specialist interest in advanced local nerve blocks, including the Pericapsular Nerve Group (PENG) block, which provides targeted pain relief for major orthopaedic procedures. These refined regional techniques significantly reduce post-operative discomfort, minimise reliance on strong pain relief medications, and enable patients to recover more comfortably. Alongside surgical anaesthetics, Dr Vondras has a strong background in intensive care medicine and critical care support.
