Dr Paula Wilson

Dr Paula Wilson is a compassionate Consultant Clinical Oncologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals facing cancer diagnoses. Understanding that a cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming, Dr Wilson is committed to delivering clear communication, reassurance, and individualised care plans tailored to each patient's unique health needs and personal treatment goals.

Her primary clinical interests encompass the oncological treatment of lung cancer, urological cancers, and sarcomas. Dr Wilson is experienced in prescribing and administering non-surgical cancer therapies, including chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Beyond routine clinical care, she contributes to academic research and clinical trials for lung cancer and mesothelioma, helping to advance effective cancer therapies. Dr Wilson is also actively involved in medical education, supporting the training of junior medical staff and Radiographers, while participating in clinical audit and governance to maintain high standards of patient safety and care quality.

Dr Wilson earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) from the University of Manchester, qualifying in 1994. She holds Specialist Registration in Clinical Oncology and continues to focus on evidence-based practice and professional excellence within her field.
