Paul has been excellent throughout - always looking for the best result to give me the best vision
Mr Tomlins was clear and concise and sorted the issue straight away which others couldn't. I am very happy with his manner and approach. Thank you
I was seen at very short notice, and given s careful and clear description of my condition, which I found very reassuring. Mr Tomlins was kind and patient, and I could not have received better care.
Consultation was simple and quick with great explanations. Overall good experience and left feeling happy
My first impression is how warm and friendly Paul is. His manner immediately put me at ease, especially as I was very worried about the fast deterioration of my eyesight. Paul was reassuring, explained everything thoroughly, in a way that I would understand, no jargon! When I first realised my eyesight had drastically deteriorated, my optician sent me for an urgent referral however, the NHS urgent referral is 15 weeks. I was not prepared to wait that long therefore I found a highly recommended opthalmology specialist, Paul Tomlins. I sent my request on Thursday and was informed that he could see me the following Monday. It's the best decision that I could have made. Paul's advice and treatment have dramatically improved my eyesight, which is both a relief and very reassuring. You only get one set of eyes and I believe that you really should prioritise them so if you possibly can, pay to go private, its not as eyewateringly expensive as you may think!
We cannot recommend Mr Tomlins highly enough - we are so lucky to have contacted Mr Tomlins for our son’s Keratoconus treatment. Right from the initial contact through to the consultation visit, the surgery day and post-op visit - Mr Tomlins was very welcoming, friendly and patient and took the time to explain everything in detail and assured us and especially our son who is 17 years old. Mr. Tomlins promptly followed up with written information , explained everything in simple language and referred us to the relevant department for further tests and contact lens. Throughout the process, we felt we were in very safe hands and we were so impressed by Mr. Tomlins knowledge and passion to get it right for our son. Thanks to Mr. Tomlins our son’s procedure has gone amazingly well, he has made a swift recovery and has now started playing his favourite sport again.
Dr Tomlins was very professional, caring and personable. He really cares about his patients, ensures he provides them with an excellent support and thorough examination. I would highly recommend Dr Tomlins
