Are you Mr Paul Sooby?
Mr Paul Sooby is a Consultant Otolaryngologist who specialises in adult and paediatric ear surgery, with a particular focus on complex hearing restoration. He graduated from Brighton and Sussex Medical School in 2010 with his medical degree and completed his higher surgical training in the East Midlands. Mr Sooby then went onto complete a clinical fellowship at the University of Nottingham focussing on cochlear implantation.
As a subspecialist in cochlear implant surgery, Mr Sooby is a surgeon in the Scottish Cochlear Implant programme and holds an Otolaryngology position in NHS Ayrshire and Arran alongside his private practice at the Glasgow Private Clinic.
Mr Sooby provides comprehensive care for a wide range of ear-related conditions including chronic ear disease and cholesteatoma and performs mastoid surgery for those who require it.
Outside of his clinical practice he remains active in clinical research and the training of the next generation of ENT surgeons, as well as being a member in several medical societies. These include the British Society of Otology, ENT UK and the British Cochlear Implant Group.
