Mr Patrick Galimpin

Mr Patrick Galimpin is a skilled Registered Nurse at The Vesey Private Hospital with a strong background in operating theatres and dermatology. He completed his medical degree in Adult Nursing at Birmingham City University in 2013.

Mr Galimpin has expertise in scrubbing for ENT, upper and lower GI cases. His current focus is dermatology nursing, after being awarded the nurse scholarship by the British Society for Dermatological Surgery in 2017. During his scholarship gained valuable experience in dermatological procedures such as suturing, MOHS micrographic surgery and wide local excisions.

At The Vesey Private Hospital, Mr Galimpin actively participates in the care of patients undergoing photodynamic therapy, a treatment method used for various skin conditions. He also has expertise in minor skin surgeries, including incisional, excision, punch, and shave biopsies, as well as curettage and cautery procedures. He is capable of performing direct closures in skin surgery using internal and external stitches, and is skilled in achieving haemostasis using tie or cautery devices.
