Dr Oyebolanle Diya

Dr. Oyebolanle Diya is a dedicated neonatal consultant with a focus on providing specialised care to extremely preterm babies during their transition from the foetal stage to neonatal life. She currently practises at Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital and St Mary's Hospital. 

Dr. Oyebolanle Diya pursued her medical undergraduate degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, which she successfully completed in 2007. She commenced her initial paediatric training in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, where she gained valuable experience in the field.

In 2016, Dr. Diya made the decision to relocate to the United Kingdom to pursue subspecialty training in Neonatology, which focuses on the care of newborn infants, particularly those who are premature or critically ill. Throughout her career, she has rotated through various tertiary and surgical neonatal centres located across London, further enhancing her expertise in neonatal medicine.

As a neonatal consultant, she plays a crucial role in providing expert and evidence-based care to newborns, especially those who require specialised attention due to their prematurity or medical conditions. Her expertise in neonatology contributes to the well-being and survival of these vulnerable infants during the early stages of their lives.
