Dr Nitin Gholap

Dr Nitin Gholap is an accomplished Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist dedicated to providing comprehensive care for individuals with complex endocrine conditions and metabolic disorders. Specialising in Endocrinology & Diabetes, he delivers evidence-based clinical management across a wide spectrum of hormone-related conditions. His primary practice focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care of patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, adrenal conditions, and pituitary disorders, ensuring each patient receives personalised and reassuring support tailored to their healthcare needs.

With extensive expertise in managing diabetes and metabolic health, Dr Gholap has a particular interest in cardiovascular risk reduction, admission hyperglycaemia management, and integrated community diabetes care. He is experienced in utilising advanced diabetes technologies, including continuous blood glucose monitoring and specialised insulin therapies, such as weight-adjusted variable rate intravenous insulin infusions and insulin pump management.
