Dr Nishant Bedi

Dr Nishant Bedi is a highly accomplished Consultant Urological Surgeon who specialises in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of a wide range of urological conditions. With a strong clinical focus on prostate health, he is dedicated to providing patients with advanced, minimally invasive treatment options. Dr Bedi is particularly recognised for his expertise in partial ablation techniques, such as NanoKnife and High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU), which target cancerous cells while preserving surrounding healthy tissue to minimise side effects and support a faster recovery.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Bedi is actively involved in pioneering clinical research to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. He serves as a Principal Investigator and Associate Principal Investigator for major national clinical trials. His research interests include evaluating the effectiveness of targeted partial ablation therapies for intermediate-risk prostate cancer and investigating the role of regular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans in enhancing active surveillance pathways. Dr Bedi completed his comprehensive medical training, earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Master of Science (MSc). He underwent specialised training in advanced partial ablation techniques at Imperial College London. Dr Bedi is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Urol) and is an active member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS).
