Dr Nikki Summers is a highly skilled Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who provides comprehensive, compassionate care for individuals experiencing digestive system and liver disorders. Serving as a Clinical Lead for Gastroenterology, she is dedicated to delivering accurate diagnoses and high-quality clinical outcomes for patients presenting with both acute and chronic conditions of the gastrointestinal tract and liver.

In her daily practice, Dr Summers manages a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, liver cirrhosis, and acute gastrointestinal bleeding. She utilises diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy to investigate abdominal symptoms and guide effective treatment plans. Dr Summers works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that patient care is individualised, evidence-based, and aligned with the latest clinical standards.

Dr Summers completed specialist postgraduate medical training in Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine in the United Kingdom, achieving entry onto the Specialist Register.
