Dr Nikhil Patel

Dr Nikhil Patel is a Consultant Radiologist at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust with a specialist interest in musculoskeletal radiology. His clinical practice includes a broad range of musculoskeletal imaging using MRI, CT and ultrasound, alongside ultrasound-guided procedures.

Dr Patel completed both general radiology and subspecialty musculoskeletal radiology training across the Kent, Surrey and London deaneries. During his final year of specialist training, he worked at St George’s Hospital in London to further develop his expertise in musculoskeletal radiology.

Alongside his musculoskeletal work, Dr Patel also performs general ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, renal, testicular and DVT scans. He qualified from Barts and The London School of Medicine in 2012 and also completed a BSc (Hons) in Sports and Exercise Medicine.

Dr Patel has an active interest in medical education and has taught at both local and national level, including anatomy teaching at university level. He also contributes to the organisation of regional radiology courses.
