Dr Nik Bhandari

Dr Nik Bhandari is an experienced neuro-psychiatrist and member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK. With more than 18 years of experience working in the NHS, he has received many compliments from patients and carers for his ability to empathise with them and develop evidence-based treatment plans to manage their illness. In 2014, he was awarded a Distinction in MSc Clinical Neuropsychiatry from the University of Birmingham, UK.

Dr Bhandari has been involved in several research projects over the last decade, including serving as Chief Investigator for a Phase II trial in the UK and Principal Investigator for two Phase III trials. He has also worked as a Medical Education Tutor and Education Supervisor for medical trainees. In recognition of his leadership and management skills, he was awarded the "Innovation prize" by the South-West division of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2012. In 2018 and 2022, he was awarded Clinical Excellence Awards for his contribution towards the delivery of safe and high-quality patient care.

Dr Bhandari currently works as a Consultant Psychiatrist in a community mental health team in the UK, treating patients suffering from depression, anxiety, psychosis, and neurocognitive disorders such as dementia, delirium, and Parkinson's psychosis.
