It was a positive experience. I was asked a variety of questions initially but the reasoning behind the questions was explained later in the assessment. He particularly focused around primary school age. His explanation gave context as to why primary school age was important as part of his prognosis. He also took time to explain next steps in my treatment (CBT). And if I wanted to look at medication, the benefits and side effects. This has helped me make an informed choice regarding my on-going treatment.
Dr Kumar was very kind and very professional. He showed a wonderful balance of compassion and getting us through what needed to be done. He was appropriately challenging pointing out things that I was not seeing in the same way and I am incredibly grateful to him for being able to do that it such a calm, kind and professional manner. I would highly recommend Dr. Kumar.

A pleasant gentleman
Dr Kumar was professional and courteous throughout the entire process. He continued to show empathy and understanding of my situation and listened attentively to my concerns. I'm optimistic that with the medication he has prescribed that I will be in a much better place in 6 months time as advised.
