Dr Nigel Tai

Dr Nigel Tai is a highly accomplished Consultant General Surgeon who specialises in trauma and vascular surgery. With extensive expertise gained across both civilian and military healthcare settings, Dr Tai provides comprehensive clinical care for patients requiring complex vascular management, emergency surgical interventions, and urgent care for severe physical trauma. His practice is centred on delivering swift, high-quality interventions tailored to stabilise acutely unwell patients.

Dr Tai completed his medical degree at University College London in 1991. He subsequently underwent higher surgical training across major surgical rotations in London and Essex, followed by an advanced fellowship in critical care and trauma surgery in South Africa. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and maintains active involvement in surgical education, clinical research, and training initiatives aimed at advancing emergency care standardisation.
