Dr Nigel Koo Ng

Dr Nigel Koo Ng is a dedicated Consultant ENT Surgeon specialising in Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgery (Otolaryngology). He provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for a wide range of general and complex head and neck conditions, with a strong focus on rhinology and facial plastic surgery. Known for his reassuring and methodical approach, Dr Koo Ng prioritises thorough clinical assessments to formulate individualised treatment strategies that address both functional and aesthetic patient needs.

Dr Koo Ng maintains a diverse clinical practice covering surgical and non-surgical treatments across all areas of otolaryngology. His sub-speciality interests encompass advanced nasal and sinus procedures, including septoplasty, rhinoplasty, and endoscopic sinus surgery. He possesses notable expertise in managing refractory epistaxis through endoscopic sphenopalatine artery ligation, as well as complex facial reconstructive techniques, such as autologous costal cartilage reconstruction for partial ear defects. His scope of practice also includes the diagnosis and management of general otological, nasal, and throat disorders.

Dr Koo Ng completed his undergraduate medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BM BCh), alongside a Master of Arts (MA) at the University of Oxford. He went on to undertake extensive postgraduate surgical training, earning a Diploma in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (DO-HNS) and Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS). He later achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (FRCS ORL-HNS) and holds membership with the Faculty of Surgical Trainers at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFSTEd).
