From the moment I met Niall Sullivan I knew without hesitation that I had chosen the best consultant for my hip replacement operation. Niall is professional, caring, kind, friendly and brilliant in every respect. He took time to explain my procedure, was always keen to answer any of my questions and gave me confidence and reassurance. The visit was to meet up with Mr Sullivan post hip replacement operation. I was seen on time and able to ask questions and review my progress which was very informative and professional.

From the beginning the experience felt like a collaboration, I felt listened to and heard and my opinions were valued. The staff were very attentive and helpful on the day and were quick to help with my pain relief. Though everyone is different regarding their aftercare, the team were very responsive to my needs as much as they could be. The consultant was clear and concise, and helped me make the best decisions for myself. Overall it was a positive experience- and this would be my second hip replacement having had my first the year before!

I had a very good experience at The Spire, Bristol. I have now had two hip replacements and each time I have had exemplary care, from the surgeon and all of the staff there.

Right from the onset, at the initial review and explanation of the procedure to the final visit, the day after the operation, I felt completely at ease. Mr Sullivan has an extremely settling way of dispelling any pre op nerves. My other hip is waiting in the wings, and I can only hope Mr Sullivan will be able to perform that operation as well. I made a remarkably quick recovery, and was walking unaided and completely pain free after 5 weeks. Scar healed beautifully, without any problems.

I had a THR by Niall Sullivan 7 weeks ago. Everything from start to finish was excellent. Mr Sullivan explained everything thoroughly, I realise I asked questions that were already on his Q&A webpage as he had covered pretty much everything. Communication was quick and thorough and put me at ease. I cannot fault it. I have had a great recovery and I am extremely happy with the results - I would recommend Niall Sullivan and the team to anyone and if I need my LHR then I hope I am lucky enough to have him again.
