Mr Niall Sullivan shows a professional, caring, and reassuring manner, providing clear explanations to patients. Many patients report successful hip replacement operations, praising his expertise and feeling confident and safe under his care. They describe smooth recovery leading to reduced pain and improved mobility; his medical secretary Lydia Randall receives praise for excellent administrative support. This exceptional care offers relief from conditions like osteoarthritis, restoring patient quality of life.
My experience was good at Spire Bristol. Right from the receptionist who was very welcoming and helpful. My appointment was on time and Mr Sullivan very pleasant, kind and explained what he thought I had and arranged an MRI very quickly, I wasn’t rushed and he gave me time to ask questions.
Mr Sullivan explained everything from my first visit, through to my discharge appointment. I had a very positive experience and would have no hesitation recommending. Thank you.
I felt really well informed & cared for from start to finish. Mr Sullivan is extremely professional & approachable. His knowledge & manner made me feel completely at ease in his care. I can now, after many years, walk 'normally' without any pain or with a waddling gait! Recovery went so well too, I didn't have any pain, swelling, bruising or seepage. The GP nurse I saw at two weeks post operation took my dressing off & admired my scar, as it was so healthy. I will need my other hip replacing at some point, it is moderately effected by osteoarthritis currently. I would definitely want to see Mr Sullivan again at The Nuffield. Many thanks.
Mt Sullivan and his team were wonderfully supportive throughout. There was quick decision making and good communication to ensure a successful outcome. At the initial consultation, the plan for treatment was clearly outlines and then confirmed rapidly by Mr Sullivan's excellent secretary. The pre-op required some extra investigations but they were resolved quickly and efficiently. The team dealt with the operation in a very calm and well practiced manner which put me at my ease and it was no time at all before I was waking up in recovery and back in my room. The follow up and discharge were handled professionally and I was reassured at my last consultation that everything had gone to plan and my recovery was on track. Thank you for the excellent care and attention.
I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Niall Sullivan. From the outset he was calm, quietly spoken, welcoming and I felt very confident in his abilities He explained everything very clearly and in detail, answering my questions to my satisfaction
I feel my experience was excellent. My advice to others having this operation is to make sure you do the exercises beforehand.
I felt looked after and listened to. I also felt I could contact the doctor should I need to. The secretary was very efficient and helpful too.
Mr Niall has been ver professional and approachable during my visits and correspondence. He takes great care regarding risk of infection and Keeps you well informed of risks and preventative precautions. My Operation was a total success for which i am very grateful. I would recommend Niall to others
Given the need for the visit, it was not an unpleasant experience. I was kept well informed of the events of the day and the staff were professional and friendly throughout.
I felt very comfortable with Mr Sullivan. He explained everything clearly and settled my reservations. I will be very happy to let him operate on my hip.
