Dr Nasar Aslam is a highly accomplished Consultant Gastroenterologist who specialises in advanced interventional endoscopy and the management of complex digestive diseases. He is dedicated to providing patient-centred, evidence-based care, utilising cutting-edge minimally invasive techniques to treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions. With a reassuring and professional approach, Dr Aslam focuses on delivering optimal clinical outcomes while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout their treatment journey.

His clinical expertise spans a broad spectrum of gastroenterological disorders, with a particular focus on upper gastrointestinal conditions. Dr Aslam is at the forefront of pioneering endoscopic therapies, including endoscopic vacuum therapy for oesophageal defects, endoscopic suturing, and transoral incisionless fundoplication for gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. He also specialises in advanced procedures such as cricopharyngeal peroral endoscopic myotomy for cricopharyngeal bar, cryoballoon focal ablation for Barrett's oesophagus, and the application of haemostatic powders for acute gastrointestinal bleeding. Additionally, he has a strong interest in the therapeutic management of inflammatory bowel disease, including ulcerative colitis.
