Mr Murugu Selvan

Mr Murugu Kalai Selvan Masilamani, known as Mr Selvan, is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with over two decades of experience, working at New Cross Hospital and Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital in Wolverhampton. He is an expert in managing general urological conditions and has developed a subspecialty interest in prostate and bladder-related conditions.

Mr Selvan completed his medical qualification from the University of Madras, India in 1993. He obtained his postgraduate general surgical qualification (M.S. general surgery) at Stanley Medical College. In 2000 he relocated to the UK where he completed the Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2000 and subsequently Fellowship in Urology.

His practice includes all aspects of general and diagnostic urology, including investigations for urinary symptoms such as bladder pressure tests (urodynamics). He also performs surgical treatments for benign prostatic enlargement and bladder stone laser surgeries. In addition, he regularly carries out flexible cystoscopy, adult circumcisions, and scrotal and testicular surgeries for both benign and malignant conditions.
