Dr. Muhammad Mansoor Baig

Dr. Muhammad Mansoor Baig is a highly accomplished Consultant Haematologist who provides expert care in both general haematology and haemato-oncology. With a patient-centred approach, he specialises in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of a wide range of blood-related disorders. His clinical expertise spans complex oncological conditions such as myeloma, lymphoma, leukaemia, and myelodysplastic syndromes, as well as general haematological concerns including anaemia, bleeding and clotting disorders, and myeloproliferative neoplasms.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Baig holds significant leadership and educational roles within the medical community. He serves as a Clinical Director and chairs multidisciplinary teams, contributing his expertise to key clinical committees focused on venous thromboembolism (VTE), blood transfusion, and intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) therapy. Dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of patient care, he actively leads governance, quality improvement, and clinical audit initiatives. Furthermore, as a General Medical Council recognised Trainer, he serves as an Educational Supervisor and Clinical Supervisor, mentoring the next generation of medical professionals, and works as a Medical Appraiser.

Dr. Baig completed his primary medical education, earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Health Sciences Lahore in 2007. He went on to achieve postgraduate excellence, obtaining a Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in Haematology and becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath) in the United Kingdom. He holds specialist registration in haematology and is an active member of several prestigious professional bodies, including the British Society of Haematology and the Royal College of Pathologists.
