Ms Pauline Alexander

Ms Pauline Alexander is a Cognitive Therapist based at the Efficacy Practice. Efficacy prides itself on delivering exceptional outcomes for its clients through highly qualified practitioners accredited to the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies. Pauline is an extremely experienced member of the Efficacy team, Pauline is located in the North East. She is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer and is also a mindfulness practitioner and provider of EMDR. Pauline has worked as a general nurse, a mental health nurse and a psychological therapist over the last 37 years. She has been an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist since 2000, working across both NHS and independent providers. She has been the clinical lead of a primary care service since November 2012. Prior to this role she worked as an experienced CBT therapist in a specialist CBT centre and as a research therapist on a national trial for CBT psychosis.
