About Professor Robert Bor

Professor Robert Bor is a highly experienced Psychologist based in London. He trained the UK, South Africa and the USA and specialises in treating those affected by chronic or acute medical conditions, including those with cancer.

He is a Chartered Clinical, Counselling and Health Psychologist and a as Fellow of the British Psychological Society. He is also a UKCP Registered Family Therapist, having completed his specialist training at the Tavistock Clinic, London and a clinical member of the Institute of Family Therapy, London.

Professor Bor has authored more than 20 books and 150 academic papers on the psychological impact of illness, and is on the editorial board for a number of international journals. He is a member of the International Psycho-Oncology Society, a Churchill Fellow and consults to Chai Cancer Care in London. He is also the Consulting Psychologist to several leading schools in London including St Pauls School, The Royal Ballet School and JFS.
