Mr Luca Pozzi is a British Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, a registered member of the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) with the British Psychological Society. He has extensive clinical experience with over 10 years of working for the NHS and privately in London and Italy.
Luca has had vast experience in working with clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, personality disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Body dysmorphic disorder ( BDD ) and relationship difficulties based on attachment difficulties.
He offers short and long-term therapies drawing his therapeutic approach from a wide range of specialisations and not limited to Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema therapy, Mentalisation Based Treatment, compassion focused therapy and mindfulness.
He obtained his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Vita-Salute Raffaele University, and undertook further training in Mentalisation Based Treatment at the Anna Freud Centre. He has previously worked in the Eating Disorder unit at Maudsley Hospital.
He has a passion for CBT Psychotherapy in particularly and is currently teaching CBT for trauma and depression at postgraduate level at the CBT Psychotherapy school of Basilicata in Italy.
